Our Story
Planteca’s story began in the early 1980s with Patrice Nagant, who started as a cut-flower salesman in Montreal’s restaurants. As plant design gained popularity, he expanded his business to include plant installation and maintenance for these same restaurants.
In 1982, inspired by this growing trend, Patrice Nagant officially founded Planteca, which quickly flourished. By 1987, he joined forces with Charles Martin to accelerate the company’s growth and diversify its activities.
Since then, indoor plant design has become more than just an aesthetic trend – it’s recognized for its profound benefits on well-being. With a wealth of proven experience in this field, over the years, Planteca has established itself as a trusted leader and partner in Quebec, offering sustainable, personalized, and forward-thinking green solutions.
